　　新华社日内瓦2月11日电（记者聂晓阳　陈俊侠）世界卫生组织总干事谭德塞11日在日内瓦表示，新型冠状病毒疫苗有望在18个月内准备就绪，目前仍需竭尽全力防控病毒。

　　谭德塞在世卫组织总部举行的新闻发布会上说，来自全球的400多名科学家正在就有关新型冠状病毒研究工作进行讨论。新型冠状病毒疫苗有望在18个月内就绪，尽管疫苗研发尚需时日，但目前已经有许多可以有效防控这一病毒的公共卫生干预措施。

　　谭德塞表示，当下我们必须竭尽全力使用现有“武器”来对抗这一病毒，同时为长期斗争做准备。

　　为期两天的“科研路线图：新型冠状病毒全球研究与创新论坛”11日在日内瓦开幕。这一论坛由世界卫生组织和“全球传染病防控研究合作组织”共同举办。
